How do you remove plastic insert?

How do you remove the plastic insert in the rear swing gate on a JK? Want to run my CB/Ham radio antenna cable thru the door and under the plastic. Do not know if it just snaps out, etc.

I believe there is a write up showing this, but it may be for the rear door shock.
