How do you remove the soft top on a new 2011 Rubicon unlimited?

Any ideas on how to get the soft top out without removing the hard top? My hard top is crushed on my flipped 2011 wrangler, but I want to remove the soft top that was rolled up in the back because it was undamaged. Any help?

On my 2011 2 door Sahara dual top I had to remove the hard top to get it out, even with the seat tumbled - I couldn't get it to rotate enough to clear the hard top.

PITA - but it's done and in storage until spring.

Get two people, preferably a strong guy or gal. Undo all the hard top bolts and the 4 bolts holding in the softtop. Have your buddy stand in the back of the jeep and lift the hard top up a few seconds while you pull the soft top out.

Not to be a pain but do you know if there are any diagrams of all the bolts on the hard top id have to remove? i want to get in and out of the yard as quick as possible and would prefer not to be fiddling around since it will probably be dark out after work when we head over.

I had the same issue a couple months ago. After you take the Torx screws off, 2 on each side, it'll come right out. But the hardtop HAS to come off first. Had my 12 yr old son help me. It's not light but its not super heavy. The biggest problem is putting it down and not scratching it up. Be prepared and have something in place to sit it on. And warm the soft top and windows up b4 you put it on. It'll help, I swear!

There's 3 on each side, holding it down to the body and the levers up front. If you have a freedom top, then the two bolts holding it in place on top as well.
