Simple old be willing to walk away. I had a trade in so not sure of exact price but I simply said I am going to go to lunch and will come back if I decide to proceed after negotiating pretty hard and feeling I had done OK. Honest to Pete, he threw $2,000 off before I could walk out! $2,000 more by simply saying I was going to lunch. How does someone live with themselves who does that for a living! I still went to lunch, came back and squeezed another $100.

I'm sure I still lost, that fancy dealer is not there because they lose money and I don't expect them to but what a goofy process. If I was a manufacturer it would be the one thing I wish I could change. No one enjoys their entry into your product, crazy.
