Default how long will these last?

I just upgraded my stock x wheels and tires buy purchasing a set of 4 used rubi wheels and tires off CG. I paid $100 for everything. The wheels were banged up good, but I sanded, primed, and rattle canned with krylon camo flat black paint. Two tires have tread depth of 19/32 and two have 14/32. Can you tell by tread depth how many miles were put on the tires? How much life do you guys think are left on the tires? I think it was a steal either way.

No way to tell. You just have to drive them until they're finished and replace them. If you can, ask the person you bought them from.

about 16,222mi for the ones with 19/32 and 12,572 for the 14/32's

sorry I had to, do you seriously think someone anyone would know that? Its a guess at best, it also will depend how much you rotate them. You got a great deal on them so even if you got 10K out of them it would be worth it. You should put the ones with 19/32 up front though and rotate every 3-5k

Tire pressure will be another factor on how long they last.

I’m approaching 100k. And along the way I’ve had to have the valve gaskets replaced because they were leaky(or so the shop said). The cat converters. And the rear main seal(s) which was a pretty major job. These are things that typically don’t go bad before 70-100k miles in my opinion.

other then that I’ve had bad luck with o2 and EGR sensors going bad in several occasions.

bought my JK new in 2009.

It was a steal and if they help you save money and the road conditions are right you could probably run them until at least 10/32 for street use maybe more. Good find IMO.

Hey guys, this is a 14 year old post. I doubt the tires are even still mounted.
