Default How to make JK Mud Water Friendly

So I just ordered my AEV Snorkel with the Pre Filter should be in next Friday and I'm gonna do the axle breather hose extension mod when I install the snorkel on Saturday.

Is there anything else I should do to make the JK muddywater friendly? Is there anything else that has breather tubes down there? I know now I can't push the clutch in when submerged.

What else can I do to make it Mud Water friendly?

your 6 speed has a vent but no tube. you need to add a hose to it. you have to take off the plastic ring shifter boot. under that you will see a foam ring. remove the ring. under that on the top of the plate that holds the shifter you will see a cap. i popped the cap off and put a lawn sprinkler elbow to a vent hose from there up to the fire wall.

i pulled my shifter out , but you don't have to

Well I suppose sitting on the hood is one way to stop hood flutter. Amazed the flimsy assed hood can hold an adult without collapsing.
