I have a B&M cooler on my 07. I wheel frequently and I also tow my boat or my camper several times a year. Regardless of what you do with your Jeep, I wouldn't drive an automatic JK without one.

That's scary. If it is so bad that normal road driving is a concern, you would think they would address it.

X2. I have an AeroForce gauge also so i can monitor tranny temp it stays around 140 now that the cooler is in. I climbed Mt. Washington this summer in the jeep and even with the tranny cooler i still climbed the temp to 205degrees, imagine without it.

Where did you purchase this cooler? It sounds like something I should look at as well.

Running just the regular B&M Tranny Cooler and I think the whole setup was under $100 with fittings and everything...one of the best investments I made last year! Stating to think about adding a e-fan and maybe a painless performance e-fan thermostat...for towing purposes.

Run a B&M Cooler on mine too with 0 issues. Never had the Hot Oil warning light come on and Ive wheeled in Death Valley in the summer.
