How much gas have you put in the tank?

I wouldn't run it dry. I have read that the fuel pump is submerged and running it dry can damage the fuel pump. I haven't confirmed this info, but it does make sense.

Yes, and when it's dry water condensation or whatever makes it damn near impossible to restart with only a gallon or two from a spare plastic gas can.

I ran my last car dry (by accident) made three trips down the road to get gas in my spare gallon gas can, and it still would not start. Had to buy some additive to eat up the moisture. Then it started.

I've even heard stories of guys running close to empty and when they make a turn, centrifical forces have forced the gas away from the pump and the car sputters to a stop, haha.
