how much MPG do you get on stock jk
2 door
Rubicon (stock)
hard top
6-speed
just over 1100 miles, and my calculated averages are between 16-16.5mpg. I'm expecting it to get better with more miles, and I just changed the engine oil and diffs to synthetic

Stock X 4 door, auto, 4x4. Only about 1300 miles on it, and I'm averaging 17.8 mpg with 80% city driving. Pretty good considering it will get better when the engine breaks in... Havent had a chance to get the highway mileage on a long trip yet.
I have found that you have to Zero the computer every tank if you want it close, and I have never seen it off more than .2,
The best I have seen is when my son followed us to Moab, never went over 65 and got 25.1 for the 790 mile trip, but on the way home in a solid day of hard rain and strong winds and doing 70-75 it dropped to 16.
My wife averages 20 around town .

I got my '08 Unlimited used, and it was just a bare-bones X that someone swapped out Rubicon tires and wheels for the stock 225s or whatever comes standard. I have 3.73 gears , automatic tranny, and got 15 mpg when it was new. I added bumpers front and rear and skids underneath and it dropped to 14 mpg with the added weight. I added a Brute Force CAI and noticed a little better throttle response, but still get 14 mpg. Would re-gearing make a significant mileage difference to make up for the jump in tire size?
22.6 MPG Stock Rubi driven by 4.10's. I only cruise in the 55'ish range though.try to keep her in the 2000RPM range. Mostly highway miles for my commute.Didnt think the darned thing would get over 20mpg honestly. Definetly getting well over 400 miles on a Fill-up.My computer wont pick up anything over 400 miles on the computer but i guessing im in the 450-460 a tank range
