How problematic is your Jeep?
I bought my Jeep in Fort McMurray, Alberta, I dont recommend anyone buy anything from that dealership, they are not a 5 Star dealer and their customer service, mechanics/techs are absolutely clueless and not well trained. Most of my issues I waited until I got back to Nova Scotia to fix. I was supposed to take delivery on Nov. 29th 2007, took delivery on January 3rd, 2008 because of numerous problems it had when it came in and clueless people who had no idea how to diagnose or fix any of them. Here's a list of problems i've had with mine,
1. Wiring Harness - damaged during assembly, replaced before I even took delivery
2. ABS Module - Malfunctioned before I took delivery, replaced
3. MYGig - Nav system & 20 GB HDD malfunctioned before I took delivery
4. Floormats - Vehicle was shipped without them, gave me the rubber/slush ones with the cool tread pattern instead.
5. Door Rattle/Latch - Started clunking 2 weeks after I took it home, while trying to fix it dealership smashed my drivers side window and dented panel beneath windshield with door mirror, when I got it back the rattle was still there and my window no longer went up properly, didnt have time to go back and fight because I was driving across country the next day. This leads to...
6. Drivers Window - Took it to local dealership in NS, found that window hadnt been reassembled properly, problem fixed.
7. A/C HVAC Controls - A/C and rear defroster didnt light up, something was wrong with blower/fan as well, problem fixed in NS.
8. Popping Noise from Sub/Amp - Did this from day one, thought it was normal because the system is Infinity and is pretty powerful. Dealership in NS reprogrammed with StarScan last week, problem solved.
9. Tires would not hold pressure at -15 in Alberta - Chrysler said that it was all because of the temperature, yet the person who parked beside me at the apartment building I lived in that drove a 2008 Sahara 2 Door with 18" Bridgestone Duelers, had the exact same tire pressure as I did even after driving on them for a little while to warm them up.. never had their tires go flat or lose air, TPMS never once flashed on their Jeep. Don't know exactly what the stealership did but the problem never came back.
10. Hard top leaks above passenger side door/Nav system/Gate - I know exactly where the leaks are coming in and where they travel, still waiting for dealership body shop to get back to me, they are working with Chrysler engineering to find a permanent solution.
I fixed the door latch rattle myself with a little WD40, sprayed it on all latches over a month ago and no noise since. Even after all that I still wouldnt part with my Wrangler for anything except maybe an '09 Challenger SRT8 or Grand Cherokee SRT 8

Had a single problem with the horn - it just completley died. A minor thing, but a problem none the less. 2008 rubi 4 door.
I had the exact same thing 08 Rubie Unl Hmmm how funny dealer fixed no prob

Bump only happened after 2 months when I used MP3 player
Blown axle seal RF dealer fixed
Mystery noise F axle dealer said it was from lift (BFnS)
Blown LF axle shafts currently fighting to get fixed.

Like with most things in life, you will get at least 7 times more complaints than compliments. To me "problems" are other than minor issues expected with anything new - car, home, child...
There are adjustment periods to everything.
Most of all the Jeep "problems" I've heard of here in the forum are from people with modified Jeeps. When you start to change angles, heights, gears, suspensions...you are much more likely to have issues than with a stock vehicle. That's why if I am going to mod a Jeep (and I have - I'm on my 6th), I do it on vehicles that are older and out of warranty.

I don't consider anything fixed prior to delivery a problem (don't even know how you would know). That said, your Jeep must have been made on a Friday (or whatever day they miss things). You have a few more issues than most.........and, as you noted, I did say most, not all.
Love my Jeep but...
1) the damn seat sqeaks are driving me crazy
2) leaks at the driver side A-pillar in overnight downpours
3) silver plastic steering wheel spokes came loose, infact, the when I picked the jeep up one was half off! (so much for pre-delivery inspection)
4) door latch thump over bumps

Yeah, but yours is a Canadian Jeep..... JUST KIDDING.
