Default How to remove the doors

I know I read another thread about this, but can someone explain the best way to remove the doors ( or show me the thread about this)

Take the torx T-50 screws out of the door hinges, and remove the wiring harness as shown in this thread:

I usually roll the window down, put my shoulder through, reach through and grab the interior door pull to lift them off the hinges.

I do this too. Just a tip though make sure you don't have any rivets on your jeans incase you rest it against your hip while you take it off and move it. You don't want to scratch the paint.

i always grab the door from the inside side so their is no risk of my keys,belt, cell or whatever scratching the paint and dont forget to wrap the t50 wrench in electrical tape all the way up to 1/4in from the tip that will keep it from scratching the paint if it slips.

Another tip -

I also put a few drops of oil (not WD-40) on each of the hinge pins before I put the doors back on. Doesn't hurt to have a little lubrication in there.

ditto to all that also be careful and disconect the harness before you pull the strap off the catch loop. Several people have let the door swing all the way open and it will put a big ol dent in the JK
