Default How to remove interior JK door panels

I need to remove an interior rear door panel on my 4-dr. I have the new one in hand. Dealership has never removed one. Is it simply an issue of carefully pulling the panel and hoping each "plastic rivet" comes out of the door....and doesn't break the plastic on the panel? I've run in to this a few times where the panel or other interior part fails before the rivet mechanism fails.

I'm removing and replacing tonight so anyone who can chime in with info soon would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry no link, but search for power lock install. Someone here did a perfect write-up and part of that is removing door ...stuff... Just saw it again within the last few days!
Good Luck..

Front doors have 4 philips screws, 2 in the grab handle and 2 in the pocket.
Rear doors have the 2 in the grab handle.
There is a T30 screw in the release bezel, but it doesn't have to be removed to take off just the inner panels.

Remove screws, peel door from bottom up. (just "pop" each clip out of its socket)
The top of the panel is hooked in the glass molding. Once all the clips are popped loose and the release bezel cleared, lift straight up. The danger of breaking clips is during installation. The clips have play to allow for variation. There is a lot of leverage that can easily break them if not lined up when you push on the panel.

Thanks everyone! I'm behind on my JK work, so I'll be changing it out tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.
