Exclamation How to shift tcase from underneath?

Transfer case linkage broke, and I need to get it in 2wd to drive for parts, which way do I push the linkage to get it into 2wd, and 4wd in case I need it? Stuck 1000 miles from home, help is GREATLY appreciated.

You'll need to pull rotate it as far forward as you can. When you pull the cable from up front (pushing forward into 2wd), there is a pivot right under the lever so you're pulling on the cable. Underneath, pulling on the cable will rotate the lever fill forward on the tcase.

When you get back home, I've got that bushing in my door pocket if you can't find an open dealer. Ptown isn't a far drive.

Move the lever towards the front of the jeep.
If it's in low, moving it to neutral is tough.
After that it's easier to get it back to 2hi.
