HVAC controls issue

Got my JK back last evening after the control board for the HVAC was replaced.
That seems to have fixed the issue. I've gotten in several times after parking for varying lengths of time and the air blows where it is selected.

Hvac control knobs
I've had this exact issue for 2 years now in my 2013 JKU. The Dealership acts as if I'm speaking another language when I explain this problem, or usually tell me to call and schedule another appointment when they have more time, or tell me they'll need to remove the whole dash and aren't liable for damages. Did you ever get down to the issue & how to solve it?

My 2013 Sport has started acting up with the same selection issues since it has turned colder and I've needed the heat.
I bought mine back in May, and used the heater only a few times, but didn't notice the issue.
Now, the issue is evident. I have had it work correctly a few times, but most of the time I have to turn the knob all the way right to get the heat to blow out the floor vents.
It's not consistent enough in the way it acts. When first getting in after it has been off for a long while, I'll have to turn the knob all the way right, then back to floor. I hear things working then it blows towards the floor. I can stop and go into a store and come back to have it still blowing to the floor, or it could be back to the dash vents (which most of the time it defaults to the dash vents).
This past weekend I had it on the blend of defrost/floor but it was blowing all to defrost the windshield. I had to turn it all the way left then right to get it to distribute the air correctly. It seems like it is getting worse. It worked fine all summer with the AC blowing out of the dash vents only.
I have it scheduled for service tomorrow to fix the situation. I'll let you know what they find.

I know this is an old post, but my 13 jk is doing the same exact thing. I’ve replaced the directional actuator, flushed out my heater core, I’ve recalibrated using jscan I cannot figure it out.
