Default I have automatic door locks???

I've had my jeep for over a year now. So I hopped in my jeep the other day and took off and noticed my doors locked all of the sudden. No biggie, I just thought my knee hit the switch. Then it continued to happen. I had no idea that I had automatic door locks. How in the world did it just start happening? It's not a big deal I just thought it to be odd that it would just start happening one day.

Yep, it sounds like you do have them.
Maybe they activated before and you never noticed it.
Mine activate when Im doing about 15 MPH.
IMHO, If you have kids, its a good safety feature.

Yeah it's sort of one of those features that you might realize early on, then forget about it for a year, and then all of a sudden realize it again one day.

One day out of nowhere, all of my doors would unlock when I opened my drivers door from the inside. Then after a few weeks it stopped doing that. Weird.

The automatic door lock feature at 15mph is programmable enabled/disabled with a key and lock switch sequence (on a 2010 anyway). You may have enabled it without knowing.

you can enable/disable the auto lock feature as well as the related "unlock all doors with one push of the remote unlock button" feature.

if I remember correctly both require turning the key to ACC then to ON and back to ACC four times, then push the lock button on the driver's door. You push it up for one of the features or you push it down for the other. (I can't remember which is which)

have to check your manual to figure it out.

Whichever one you do, enable and disable are the same procedure for either feature. It just toggles between enable and disable for that feature.

Hope that's clear. if not, RTFM..

After having set the features the way I want them over a year ago, they suddenly re-set themselves. Must be gremlins because I did not have any other activity that would effect the system. Nobody serviced the rig nor did I disconnect the battery or do any electrical mods. Just seems to be a glitch in the matrix.

It seems the user programmable door lock tweaks will randomly change now and then.
People have programmed a certain feature, then all of a sudden it is back to where it was.
Sometimes, a feature which has not been programmed by the user will suddenly change.
No one knows why.
