i weighed the hardtop and doors
Edited to now add weight of spare...
It has probably been done but in all my years of owning jeeps i never weighed this stuff till today....all this was done on a digital bathroom scale..
2012 jeep rubicon 2 dr with freedom hard top..
Doors are powergroup..back window has wiper motor..
I solo remove my hardtop so i remove my backwindow tomake it less awkward to handle...
Panels=16.2lb each
Hardtop without back window=74.5lbs
Back window=23.5lbs
Doors=63.3lbs each
Considered checking the spare but got lazy and i think the numbers of 74lbs has been the norm..
I also measured height of jeep to see how the weight affected it..
I have all stock with springs of 14 front and 56 rear..
With top and doors i measured center line of wheel from ground to fender well..give or take an 1/8th to be safe..
With top= 36 1/4 inches
Without top= 36 1/2 inches..
Edit add: today i pulled the spare to do some work..
Stock 2012 non-rotated new 17 inch rubicon spare 74 lbs exactly on my digital scale...so guess 44lbs is listed tire weight which would mean 30lbs for wheel..
