How does your JK idle? Mine is a new 09 and it's a little rough.

Mine's a little rough as well. It's very slight. I'm due for an oil change and I'll have them check it out. Several people on this board have posted that they had vacuum leaks which created the rough idle.

Default Idle?

A little rough also. Have not checked it out. Was thinking of cleaning the TBS as I've heard this could be a culprit.

Sometimes I think I've killed it at a red light it is so smooth. Maybe it is because the ride up to the redlight isn't as smooth.

Interesting the differences people have on their idles. Read the other threads on this also. I took mine in today and they reset the computer on it. The idle was better but not as smooth as some people say. Did the people with vacuum leaks have codes thrown up by the computer? What would be a good way to check myself for small vacuum leaks?

Default idle

way to check for vacuum leaks is to spray the carb cleaner. if you hear change in idle or smoothness changes you have a leak. don't spray too much as it can drift

Mine has idled rough at times too. Usually when I get off the interstate and sit at the red light for about 10 seconds. It acts like its going to stall for a second then it comes back.
