Idler pulley
I think it definitely has to do with where and how you drive. I'm on the original everything with 22k on the odo since 01/08 brand new. If you are submerging, things will get gunk and mud in them and start to prematurely wear things out (ie. bearings).
I need to replace mine. Is there enough room to fit a grease gun needle in there? If not I was thinking of drilling a small hole and greasing it up. Thoughts?

True, but if we have to keep replacing them, we should figure out a way to regrease them. How about -- drill the hole, fill with grease, superglue a little piece of paper down, then cover with 2 part epoxy. This will take care of the hole.

you could try it but how are you going to fill with grease enough to get the sand or whatever gets in there out? how big a hole you making? its just not worth it to me, 18bucks is a fair price to pay to play for me, and its not like you have to replace it everytime. Heck Chris just replaced his for first time.

dealer they are 25-30bucks
