that one I think it is the timing chain/camshaft, the bottom one is the crankshaft dampner pulley

what yo still have the noise? it maybe your tensioner pulley, thats the one you put the ratchet in to loosen belt, the pulley that is bolted to that is the same as the idler and you can unbolt and bolt on one of the idler ones to replace it, Pagoda did that, its hard to tell whats what sometimes because of the belt spinning and carrying the noise.

I dont believe the crank or timing/cam one has bearing in it on the outside, the other it could be is the a/c and easy to check that turn a/c on and it noise changes/stops almost thats it

Have not replaced mine on my JK but I did have to replace one on my wifes 03 liberty at only 8000 miles. We started hearing this squeak, squeak, etc,etc while idling. The OEM and the replacement looked like complete JUNK.

i haven't swapped the idler yet. i'll wait to do that and see what else there is. the noise is definitely coming from either the idler (most likely), the alternator (i hope not, it's new) or the timing/crankshaft one. it is definitely coming from the right of center side, and more towards the top. once i switch the idler, i'll be able to easily isolate whatever else is making noise. just over 400 miles left on the warranty. if the idler doesn't do it, the dealer hopefully will.
I EXTREMELY doubt that its coming from the timing or crankshaft one.
