Default If given the choice..

Between a 13' JKU SPORT 6speed with 3.21
Or
13' JKU SPORT Auto with 3.73

You plan to put lift and 35s in the future... Which one would YOU go with??

Unfortunately the auto...general consensus is that 3.21's are sluggish with 35s

I'd still go manual. Stock tires and 3.21's and I could hit 60 in 7.1-7.2 seconds. Don't consider that a sluggish jeep

Look a couple threads away from this for a 3.21 discussion. 3.73 wins.

The 3.73, although for the price difference between the two you could probably re-gear.

obviously 3.73 is better, but both are technically under geared, and I'd rather have manual for control. Chances are, a regear would probably be in the OP's future anyways (based on his other thread)

With the same gear ratio, I'd have to say the manual. But did you mean to say 3.73 auto vs 3.21 manual? Best way to find out is to just go drive them man. That's what test drives are for. I wouldn't base a decision on what you read people think on a forum.
