Illuminated window switches?
Does anyone know if the window buttons are supposed to light up on an 07 X. I bought mine used and it looks like the center of the switch has a little hole for light to come through, but no light on mine. Is this normal or is mine just out?
Thanks,

that's interesting, I have the A1 electrics aftermarket power windows and my top two buttons light up and my bottums ones don't aswell. They did for the first year then slowly burnt out. I think there must be a small trickle back of juice on all these systems that the little led's don't like then fry out eventually....betcha a diode in the right place would have prevented any feedback, thus lights burning out

Lights Burning Out
I have a '08 and the window and door lock lights have burned out. Deos anyone know if they have a system wide issue with this? Seems a LED would last longer than 3 years!!!!

I have a 2011 and I have to agree that the lights in my opinion are so dang dim to begin with it is ridiculous. I don't want bold lights all over the place, but the window control lights could have been brighter.

Dont have electric windows but have other vehicles that do and non of them have lights on the switches. Never been that darn dark in the vehicle with guages lit up that I couldnt find the window button. Regardless, cant belive so many of you are having issues with these lights on the buttons. Would think Chrysler would have corrected that issue, otherwise dont sell them with switches that have lights.
