Yes it does....well you have to tell the window company who is replacing it that you want that one as there are two types of glass for it.....one with the jeep and one without.

The Best stuff bar none that I have been using is Bug Slide, it is great stuff I use it on my Motorcycle windshield and the Jeeps it will not hurt paint and even puts a coating that makes it easier to get bugs off in the future. You can even use it on Mirrors. Most Harley Dealers and general Motorcycle places carry it. A little expensive but it is well worth it.

We don't know what he told the insurance company but comprehensive insurance covers damage to the vehicle regardless of who's at fault.

That absolutely constitutes insurance fraud.

I don't think I've found a piece of OE glass, from ANY manufacturer that I think was made well. We had an ice storm a few years ago, and I used a scraper to clear the windshield on my old Jeep. First and last time I ever used a scraper on the windshield. It left some pretty huge scratches...

my insurance company allows up to 1 brand new windshield a year no deductablle. The glass doesnt even have to be damage. I get them replaced all the time when the glass gets sand pitted and scratched.
