Default increasing the payload.

Does anyone make HD springs for the JK's? Not really looking at lifting the jeep just when I pack up I don't want the back to sag so much.

Check ARB for OME Old Man Emu springs to get the part numbers you want:
www.arbusa.com
Then hit Northridge 4x4 to see if they stock them, then call Northridge and talk to David about your needs:
www.northridge4x4.com
Just my two centavos.

I know some of the guys on here use Old Man Emu springs and I know they make a Heavy Duty kit but it does net you some lift.

I ended up putting a set of 4 door hard top w/ tow package springs on my 2 door and it firmed up the ride a good bit. It did give me about an inch to and inch and a half lift as well.

Hope that gives you a start. Good luck in finding your springs.

Doh! didn't even think about OME.....all you ever hear about is the 2-3" lift from them. I'll give it a shot. I figure I can live with a small amount of lift, I'll just take the leveling spacer out of the rear..

Thanks

espo springs and things...espo.com[/url].

Tell them what you want, (width, length, arch, thickness, position and size of center hole) and they will custom make you a extra leaf, and do it fairly cheaply.

I normally order my extra leaves a little long and custom fit them with a cut off wheel.

Extra leaf???

If you do find a heavy duty set of coils with no lift it is going to stiffen your ride considerably. If you only do the rear it is going to change your handling.

You might be better off with a set of coils that truly provide only 2-3" of lift. This type of coils use improve your ride.
