Inexpensive Soft Top Window Bag Ideas?

I use a bestop window storage roll. And the windows look brand new after two years. Of course, they are rarely taken out of the storage roll, which now lives in the garage. I stripped out the carpet more than a year ago and had the tub sprayed with Line-X. Most of the drain plugs are permanently pulled. Except under the front seats and the rear ones in the front foot wells, because heat comes in at those points. So I guess I am saying if you don't use the windows, they last a long time.

My wife just made us one this morning. Using stuff from walmart it cost about $25 to make. She even used cordura for the storage bag.
If anybody would like the UPCs for what we used, just yell. Took her about 30min to do the whole thing.

I cut a piece of 6" ABS pipe to fit length wise behind the rear seat. It is just snug enough it doesn't roll around. I roll up the windows and they slide right in. They are protected from crushing when I pack the jeep full this way. I also keep a hoodie in the tube as well for chili night rides (it is easier to toss my wife a hoodie than put the top up)
Every plumbing shop in America has short lengths they will give you free. Especially if you stop by in your jeep and just have a friendly chat. They don't get a lot of visitors and will be happy to help you out. If you are already a customer chances are they will help cut it to size. I don't know about you but its way easier for me to cut a piece of pipe than to sew something.

I did the same thing. Fits nice behind the rear seats. I also looped the carry handle over the rear headrests if I didn't want the to get crushed.

I have a trektop NX but here is how I store the rear window. This might work for standard top windows but you may need two of them. I cut a piece of 4" S&D PVC to length. Put an end cap on one end and a clean out on the other end. I roll up the rear window with the tailgate bar in a sheet and then slide it into the tube. Fits really nicely behind the rear seat of my JKU. The slope of the wheel wells hold it tight to the seat. My side windows go in the Rampage Freedom Panel storage bag that sits on top of my lock box. For standard top zip out side windows a second tube or maybe a 6" should work.
My tube cost me about ten bucks.

The PVC is a good idea. I used a folding chair bag and roll them up with sheets of fleece between them. My mother is a seamstress and is making a bah that fits better.
