Has anyone considered adding a "Inline Transmission" filter?

There are several available, Magnefine being the one I am looking at. I am about to install a Trans Cooler and this would be a good time to add it in the rubber line.

Won't hurt, but unnecessary. Overheating the fluid is what usually kills a transmission. Your cooler will prevent that.

Well now that you bring it up an oil filter relocation kit with dual filters would be cool.............

It already has one. THe filter in the pan is in the "supply" line. Fluid is sucked into the filter before it goes into the transmission. A quick look at a schematic of the 42RLE will show you that the filter is directly in the pressure flow and therefore technically in the supply line.
