Yes... I learned that from watching the video, but it was still about 12" (relaxed) to pull down by myself. That left one arm to pull down on the top of the sail panels and one hand to clip the sail panel under the lip.... it was around 60 degrees, so things were a bit stiff.

Default 4 straps???

Anyone know what these 4 straps are for? 2 have velcro, I'm assuming these are for holding the side bows down when the top (front) is open, as per the video.... no clue what the other 2 with the female snaps are for.

Are they for holding the windows together in "rolled up" position?

They(elastic) holds back window rolled up.
The press button has opposite part on the last support bar.

So... the cross (horizontal) bar that the rear window slides into has the opposing snaps? So... the rear window can be unzipped, rolled up, and left hanging off of the horizontal cross bar? Or... is the intention to roll it up and remove the window and bar together?

Yes.The back window can be unzipped just on side and then rolled up.

The horizontal/cross bar I mean upper, under the roof, not a down under the back window.

OK... I went out and looked inside the back and see the two snaps up on the top horizontal bar.... STILL not sure what the intention is:
  1. Unzip the window, unhook the lower bar and roll up together, then hand from the 2 snaps?
  2. Unzip the window, unhook from the lower bar and just roll up the window and hang from the 2 snaps?

Personally.. I would think the lower horizontal bar should be disconnected from the rear window and just roll up and hang the window from the snaps... just not sure what the "intention" from Jeep is.

Roll it up with the bar, then hang it with the straps on the bar. That way they don't scratch your window.
Most of us just let the window flop down to decrease scratches.

You know just letting it flop down sounds pretty good... does it ever come off the floor when driving with the SunRider top open?

Mine never does. Even with the back seat down. Once I had a box or something under it and it moved a little, but ever since, it just hangs out down there.
