Default interchangeability with other jeep models?

Anyone anywhere have a breakdown of what will....or might fit on the JK's from earlier model Jeeps?

Wondering how different the doors are for a possible half-door project but am curious as to what other parts I might be able to scrounge off other salvage yard finds?

Many thanks.

? Grab handles?
Seriously, I think our JK's have almost nothing in common dimensionally with previous tj, yj or cj.

I just got this mental image of trying to put YJ headlights in a JK grill hahahaha, kind of like the kid in the hospital waiting room trying to shove the trangle block into the circle opening

Apparantly the only part common to both the JK & TJ is the plastic footman's loop mounted on the hood for securing the windshield when it's down; that's it. Even the TJ's D44 axles (where fitted) are different to the JK's, both inside & out

You could retrofit some stuff, but it probably wouldnt be worth it.
