Dog's head turned mine on, hate it when she does things like that. One way or another, that light seems to get everyone.

 

Mine does the same thing occasionally. It will come on when entering the Jeep but will not dim down with the front. It is not being turned on manually, but you can turn it off manually. It doenst bother me in the daytime, but its a pain at night.

I was loading up the Jeep to go to the local airshow this weekend was passing things over the rear seat. Hopped in and started down the driveway and the rear light was on. Got out and opened and closed all 4 doors plus the tail gate and my three year old says" just push it" while pointing to the light.
