issue after rhb update
Question I recently updated my RHB to have travel links and everything works fine, but I no longer have a default image in my my gig it's just blank..
Any thoughts on how to get it back?

Mine started having weird problems after the last software upgrade that added TravelLink. When I tried to delete or save favorites or change nav settings, everything appeared to be fine but when I shut off the motor for a few minutes nothing I saved or changed would be there. My new girlfriend got pissed because she thought I was still seeing an old girfriend because her address kept appearing at the top of the favorites list.
It also had trouble calculating routes. Sometimes I would have to make 6 attempts for it to completely calculate a route even if it wasn't a new one.
I contacted may people of websites (myGig.com), Jeep, and even Garmin. Garmin was most helpful. Nothing fixed it. So I finally took it to the dealer with copies of emails between me and Chrysler, me and Garmin. They kept it for a few hours and finally agreed to replace the radio under warranty.
Some people had success trying this:
- disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. There's a lot of debate about just taking out a fuse or 2 but removing the terminal from the battery is the only way to ensure power is completely removed from the RHB.
- Try reloading the last software. MY RHB wouldn't let me do this.
Hope this helps
