Do you have to do anything special to make this work? I just went out and tried the same thing but the doors unlocked when I reached in the front window and hit the unlock button on the door, even after locking with the remote. It is an Unlimited Rubicon with hardtop and power locks (obviously).

You have to wait approx. 30 seconds before it will deactivate the door lock buttons. You can tell when you've waited long enough when the alarm light on the dash starts flashing at a different speed.

The boot will not work unless you mod you trunk lid. I had both the trunk and boot, and the top hits the top of the trunk lid when down. I cut my lid so I could remove the small lid from the main one. This allowed the top to be tucked in where should be so the boot works. PM me your email address and I can send pics to you.
