Default Jeep Cab Cover

What are you guys (and gals) using for Jeep covers. I'm tired of having to put my top and doors back on daily. Thanks in advance.

I use the RR cover. Around $80-90. Love it, comes with a lock and wire chain.

Ditto on Bestop Trail Cover.

Fits perfectly, and is easy to take on and off. Also, it covers the door area in case you have the doors off, but still fits over the doors if you leave them on (just have to fold in the side mirrors). I have the doors installed in the picture below.

If you check in the for sale section, there's usually one or two that come along fairly regularly, you can pick it up for about half price.

Bestop Trail Cover. As mentioned, works with doors. Also works with a safari top and Duster, and even with the hardtop or softtop and no doors or tube doors (after a fashion).

I can also attest to its hail resistance ...

I looked for a long time and read several articles on this forum and wound up buying the Bestop trail cover for my JKU. It is waterproof and fits with the doors off. HOWEVER...the downside is as follows: it is a huge, heavy piece of canvas. I fold it up and put it back in the bag, but most people won't bother as it's a bitch to do it. Next it does NOT fit as well as everyone let's on. When you top is off...no problem, but if your soft top is down, the fit is really tight. At the front, it fits decent, but the mirrors do get in the way even if folded. I have tube doors with mirrors and I can't fold them in. When I have this setup I have to run the cover behind the mirrors which leaves an exposed area for rain. It's a great top, but I thought you should hear the whole story. I still think it's the best one, but I sure wish it was lighter as that would make it much easier to deal with. Good luck!

Rain Gear (jeepcovers.com) make awesome covers. I had the one for my TJ for 7 years of daily use. I went without one last Summer while I was waiting for them to make one for the JK's. As of now, they still don't have the cover made for a model that's been out over 4 years. Pretty stupid if you ask me. The nice thing about their covers is generous room for going over the soft top when folded back and mirror flaps with velcro to fit around stock and most aftermarket mirrors, doors on or off.

I just ordered a Smittybilt cover...real similar to the Bestop. I'm tired of putting the top back on each night or if it's looking like a little rain. I doubt I'll like it as much as the Rain Gear, but if it fits and keeps my Jeep dry...whatever.
