Looking to buy used 2015 seats for install in my 2007 JKU. Will they fit??
The new seats have heated seat wiring...not sure if there's a way to hook that up and get switching for the 2007. Thoughts?
Cheers

Well, the 2015 seats are in. Different wiring harness. I'm getting brutal seatbelt chimes the entire time And an airbag light. Cut the original harness off the '07 seats. Does anyone have a 2007 wiring diagram so I can splice this correctly?

Did you get this figured out I am about to pull the trigger on some leather heated seats, but want to make sure I won't have too much trouble.

This involves cutting hog ties and replacing them on the new frame. It's pretty much the same as replacing your worn seat upholstery with new Katskin leathers. It's simply not worth swapping in newer model seats into older model JKs.

I have a friend who did a swap and it was totally worth it. We've got fewer sensors and it was just a matter if making the new seats connect to the proper wires.

If all you want in heated seats its easy to put them in just get a aftermarket kit off of Amazon that's what I did

I could care less about the heated seats honestly. I have a 2011 with cloth seats. I have a lead on some 2014 leather rubicon seats.

I just swapped 2014 seats into my 2008 JKU. Both were not side airbag seats. I swapped over the female side seat belt buckle on both seats. The passenger side didn't have any electrical connections. On the drivers side I had to swap out the harness that connects the seat belt and the seat position sensor. The sensor connects right to the mount on the 2014 seat. Both of the seats had the same sensor. Wasn't too bad to swap out. Let me know if you have any other questions.
