Jeep is in a Coma!
Woke up this morning, Jeep wouldn't start. So I threw it in neutral and coasted it off the driveway so my brother could get his car out of the garage for work. As I was coasting, my brakes wouldn't work and it took all of my strength to turn the steering wheel.
Gas is good. Oil is good. All of my fluids are good.
I changed out my OEM battery to an Optima Yellow Top. The Jeep starts up perfectly, BUT I have NO response in the accelerator pedal or the brake pedal, and still cannot turn the wheel.
The only light that is on my Jeep is a lightning bolt/Z light, kind of like this )Z(
Any help and advice would be great.

Well the lightening bolt indicator is an indication of problem with the electronic throttle, so that explains the no accelerator. The no brake or steering thing is weird though...
Thanks for the reply. It's at the dealership now to be worked on tomorrow. Unfortunately the throttle thing is something I've never dealt worth, nor know how to fix.
Thanks again. I'll make sure there's a conclusion to this thread as to what was done to fix it.

If the Jeep wouldn't start the power steering and power brakes wouldn't work and would make each of those very stiff in comparison to if the Jeep were running.
Now no response at all on those items is very strange while the Jeep is running. Accelerator and brakes are one thing but steering... that should work no matter what... unless the wheel lock is not disengaging when the key is turned.
The JK's have an electronic throttle, not a line. My pedal/electronic throttle failed and a new one has to be ordered. So, there was no way to fix myself. This is one of the few things that a dealership has to do for me.
My service adivsor said this was highly rare and I was the only JK he saw that experienced this failure.
