Yep might be it! I have a manual and no wear at all.

Drivers side at the heal wore through in about 8 months, I just chaulked it up to Mopar after market junk, thaught I had a leak with the wet carpet, wasn't expecting a hole in the mat so soon, they look the shit but there not. going with Huskies next winter.

Ditto. Quadratec, RR and a few others brand these mats as theirs. I like them - High lip on them to catch the dirt.

The rubber is completely disintegrating. The rubber is sloughing off layer by layer and any knobby bits are just crumbling away.
The back seat mat is no better and shows signs of cracking and crumbling.
Anyone else get a bad set of mats?

Took them by the dealer with my reciept and was told this was a "wear" item. Duh!
I've never had a mat wear like these "heavy duty slush mats" have.
It's a real bummer, since they looked so cool.
i had them, they disintegrated under my heal in less than a year. I liked the look, but functionally they sucked.

Default shoe goo

yea, i like the looks of the mopar mats. my original mat wore out in about a year. I bought shoe goo from Walmart and smeared it all over the bottom where the wear was. It solved the problem. I later bought a used set, with no wear, and shoe-gooed it... it has been 2 years with no issue.

Bought a set in April 2009... still look brand new with 40k mi of driving, exposed to the summer sun.

It sounds like a bad batch of rubber for some people. Bummer.
I love mine.

Default mopar mats

I got a set of the Mopar Jeep slush mats in my 2010 JKU and they look good but after about 5 months of regular use the driver's side has a nice deep groove in them and started to peel off.

I wear work shoes every day but they have rubber soles on them and shouldn't destroy these mats.

I will probably go buy the tread lightly mats once these are gone.

Default Mopar floor mats

I had the same issue with my floor mats. I even got a set of Husky liner mats and used the MOPAR ones on "nice days" and they still wore out on me. I complained to the dealership as I only had ~50,000kms on it and it was under a year and I got a replacement set. The replacement set also started to wear, so I got reid of them and just have the Husky liner floor mats... I guess they had a bad run of material. It's a shame as they did look real cool and didn't lift up as much when going doorless.
