For what? Optimum power? Mpg? It all depends on your speed. I like to cruise between 2100 and 2500 rpms. Pick a gear that's right based on speed. Don't worry if you rarely or ever use 6th with your setup

First off, I'd talk to Manuel about the way he's driving your Jeep. If I had a Manuel trying to use sixth gear in my Jeep I'd be upset too. Fortunately, we don't have a whole lot of Manuels up here, they typically stop at Washington.

Secondly there are too many variables.

Vehicle weight both sprung and axle
Time of day, seriously, it changes weather
Wind direction and speed
Hard top/soft top
Spare tire and carrier
winch in front
Air dam in front
Skid plates (deflect wind)
Altitude
Quality of gas
Consumption of oil
Air filter
Snorkel, CAI, Stock air box

The same road you travel could change your RPM depending on something as simple as time of day. These are not tuners, you can't calculate everything. And my average RPM in Alaska with my Jeep will be different from anyone else, even in the state. After modding it is very rare for any two Jeeps to be identical.

Take it for what it is. If you want speed buy a sports car. If you want fuel economy buy a Prius.

I kept typing out manual and having to go back. I'd like to say it was on purpose but....
