Default Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Silver Bumper Inserts

Hi everybody. This is my first post on JK Forum.

I was wondering if there was a way to remove the silver inserts on the front and rear bumpers on a 09 Sahara Unlimited. I can't seem to find the answer to this on the forums.

thanks

Why don't you paint them a flat back or even color match them with body color (could be neat) ? Just a thought ... I know i would if I had them.

They come off. I forget if they are held on by screws or those plastic pins used all over the front. You may need to take off the bumper to take off the silver part.

Took mine off last weekend. The rear bumper has to be removed in order to remove that one, but the front is easy.
