Default JK 3.8 OBD Emissions Ready Light

I have read in only two different posts out of dozens Ive read that:

"I also figured out that you can check the emissions ready status by turning the key on - and waiting - and watching to see if the MIL flashes or not after 15 seconds. Still flashing (meaning not ready)."
Apparently after 15 seconds it flashes for 10 seconds when not ready, but stays solid the whole time if ready...

Can anyone confirm this is true? I just failed emissions for a not ready status for O2 and catalyst after 200 miles; I drove another 60 miles yesterday and now the MIL light does not flash with key on engine off. I have 1 free re-inspection, I hope not to waste. This is not a daily driver, so its hard to put mileage on it. Any help in determining the status is appreciated.

For anyone interested, I have confirmed my own suspicion, this does indeed work.

Default Not ready

I had terrible problems with "not ready" until I had the tire/ new gear ration re programmed then it's been no problem. Have you changed tire size or gear ratio?

Yes I changed them in the tuner, but I passed today no problem and was able to verify that the dash check works.
