we don't have the diesel here so we can't say anything on the motor. The biggest problem I've seen is the freedom top leaking.

No diesels here Dave. I think most acessories are made by subcontractors and supplied to Jeep at assembly. Diesel fuel here is very close to $5.00 a gallon, what does gasoline cost a gallon over there? Is the Pound still set at $1.50/pound? Nice speaking to you....

Not sure what it is currently, but last summer it was around 1 pound per litre, which comes out to about $8 a gallon, don't even want to know what is now, thank goodness I'm not going there this summer.

I've got a 2.8 CRD over here in Australia too. I believe it's a VW engine?

Not good to hear the turbo blew up, might just be a once off?

Diesel here is currently mid $1.70's... sucks... was #1.30 start of the year

1 litre=0.26 gallon
so x about 4= 1 gallon

1.31poundsx4=5.31 pounds

1 pound= aproximately 1.55 dollars so...

5.31pounds per gallon x 1.55 us dollars=

about 8.23 dollars for about 1 gallon of diesel

@1.50 pounds per litre,

1.50*4=6 pounds per gallon

6 pounds * 1.55 dollars=9.3 dollars for 1 gallon of diesel

We better drill like crazy and build more refineries fast!!! Well I guess we could just trust in the goodwill of known terrorist nations to supply us with our oil, that works right?
