JK stalls at the redlight...
So I took a deer down to the meat hacker man the other day and was coming home. Stopped at a red light. Clutch out, in neutral, radio goin. And it dies. For no reason. I wasn't starting to take off and stall it. I wasn't playin with the clutch. I was just SITTING THERE! I have a little over 3,000 miles on my JK and have had ZERO complaints on it doing anything like this before. Never done it before and it hasn't done it since...should I try the TSB or is this just some random VOODOO act of a lunatic animal rights activist?
But backstrap steaks and deer jerky are sooo good though.
as is deer chili...

Hmm, not sure. Might better send over some of that jerky and let me think about it for a while
. Seriously though, it is a pain in the arse. Seems the only few times it's happenend to me is when starting off, not just randomly idleing. I'm not new to a manual trans, either. My DD's have been manuals for the past several years.

I had this happen to me last week. Although, I have an auto tranny. I was pulling up to a red light and as soon as I stopped, my Wrangler went dead. Then all my dash lights came on. It started right back up. MY radio kept flashing on an off after that. I took it into the dealer, they updated the computer and installed a new starter the next day(they had to order the part). Hope this helps!
