Are JK's really made for Winter?????

Not every time this was the first time it happened >>>> I had just washed the JEEP so maybe its just a build up of condensation!

Command starts nice...but understand the intake for the blower will suck whatever snow is sitting on top of it and blow it into the vehicle...just go out and brush the snow off the hood under the windshield...and humidity will get into the Jeep, that's just how it is...after you've washed it crack the window a bit, crank the heat and go for a drive to clear it all out. I haven't had a sinlge issue with my Jeep in the winter going on 3 years now...it's not a luxury vehicle, it's a durable off road rig with some creature comforts...it's a Jeep

Mine's fine in the winter. You must clean the snow off the exterior air intake or it'll suck it right in and ice/fog up the interior. (I'm pretty sure there isn't a cabin filter as previously mentioned.)
The defrost does sort of suck because of the single outlet in the center of the dash. I have to constantly switch between the front defrost to clear the windshield and the upper vents to clear the side windows.
It was nice to see they went with separate front defrost vents on the 2011 interior. I'm wondering if it solved the problem?

I've got the same foggy/frosted windows issue. It's never snowed inside my Jeep, though. My Jeep's the only vehicle I drive in the winter. I just plug'im in at night and he keeps on truckin' every day. It's often -30C in the winter around here. A few more squeeks and creaks but no other issues. Except for the annoying clunk/rattle that started coming from underneath last week...

I am having two problems this winter with my JK................
1. After I wash my truck when i leave the wash bay all of my windows fog up and then ice over
2. When i use my compustar command start the interior dash fills up with snow .......... its coming in through the vents in the upper dash @ the wind shield (defrost setting)
Does this happen to any of you ???? any solutions????

That is odd. I have had a Jeep for 6 years in Arizona and S. Califonia and have never had a problem with ice or snow coming through the vents.

What I don't understand is why you're washing it in that kind of cold weather to begin with.... it'll just get super dirty again after one trip out. Why even wash it all now that I think about it... the universe will take care of it when it rains again. All clean!

Have you had any issues with your compustar system? I had one installed and everyday it would unlock my doors and turn off the alarm all on it's own, I had to get it pulled and put in a viper system. Just curious!
