Default Keeping it Stock - Tire Size

Did a quick search 2013 2door sport, 16" steel wheels. I want to put the biggest tire on without lift or wheel spacers I see the most common is 265/75/16 - I also see where some have installed 285/75/16 but not sure if wheel spacers are required at 285....Mainly used on road but will get some offload use in the upcoming hunting season so any tire recommendations are welcome as well.

Thanks
Clint

Used set of stock Rubicon BFG mud terrains and 17" wheels will fit the Sport well with no lift or wheel spacers. I ran them on my 07 X for years, no problems.

If you prefer the stock steel wheels then the 265/75R16 is probobly as big as you can go without additional wheel backspacing and a body or suspension lift.

Option C;
Trim your fenders and go as big as your axle gears and wallet will allow.

265/75R16 will not rub. I had this for a year with Kelly safari tsr (which might run small by the way). Now I have new wheels and Rubi shocks and springs but the same tires until I can jump directly to 35s.

I ran 285/75/16 with no issues on mine since March when I bought it. I plan on running that size till I get money for 35's since I just did a lift. But ran this size stock with no issues.
