Default Knock sound

Hi everyone,

When I reverse and then go forward I can hear a slight knock sound coming from the rear.

A friend tells me it's my spider gears ? What are these and how easy are they to change.
What's the likely cost ?

Thanks

Do you have a Sahara? If so, I wouldn't be too surprised if your TracLok is going out.

How many miles are on your rescue green Sahara? My TracLok went out at 45k.
I purchased in 2008 with full bumper to bumper warranty. Since you have a rescue green jeep, you either have a 07-08, correct? If so, yours should be covered lifetime power train warranty too.

Are you the original owner?

Rescuegreen#3, yes it is an 07 Sahara auto. Not sure if I have a lifetime warranty though, will check it out. Thanks
