Default Larger spring question

How much larger of a stock spring can be used with stock Sport shocks. I see where people are going from like a 13 to a 17 or 18. At what size would you need to change the shock, too?

you can use the same shocks when getting stiffer springs from 13+ same goes with the rear shocks going to stiffer springs 54+

Only when upgrading to a after market lift springs you will have to start worrying about longer shocks for longer travel and bigger bump stops.

As mentioned, you can run any stock coils with your shocks. Now here's the flip side of it......you can go with longer shocks to accommodate more downtravel into your suspension if you can find the correct lengths.
