Default Leak action

With so many of us who own Wranglers from 07 and up with water leaks that are annoying, unfixable in most instances, has anybody heard of or is interested in starting a Class Action Suit? Yeah, I know its a Wrangler and WE are supposed to be TUFF, but this is a flaw htat has continued over the years and they don't give a damn. Had to sound off. harry

yeah ive tried over a year to fix my leak issue...what i found was that your have to live with it..nothing is perfect...and then if you do enough searches (not saying you didnt) on here your see what some other folks did to fix theirs...play around with what they did and maybe your find a fix..
what i did was flex my driver door a little and that worked.....other then that i have my hard top on now and it has no leaks at all what so ever...

I'm talking about a leak over the rear view mirror. With the hardtop on.

I went to dealer connect, found the JK leak service manual, downloaded the pdf and clicked print. Then I ran out of paper...twice. Its around 300 pages long. I wouldnt waste my time with a class action whatever...I did hear the trektops don't leak

Someone just started a thread exactly like this a few days ago. I don't mind dealing with a drop of what here or there personally, but just warning you based on the the other thread: Be ready for a shit storm!

In your 10 posts, 3 are starting threads about leaks.

Apparently you could not get it solved through warranty service nor find and fix the issue yourself.

If this is important to you then take the initiative. Hire a lawyer, sue Chrysler.

My Freedom top has not leaked through 4 years of abuse. So I have no grounds to join.

Good luck.

No offense but... You bought a convertible, it's gonna leak.

It's a Jeep made in the year 2007+.

Not a POS lebaron.

I'd be mad if mine leaked.

I'd bet 75% are user error and 25% manufacturing tolerance issues.

Yeah, it could be a convert. if I took the hardtop off. But the point is there should be NO defects at this late stage in manufacture. If it's allright with you, you need to grow up. No offense, but buying a Rubicon a shade below $40k it should not leak!
