Default Leak question

Hey,
I bought my 2013 2 door JK maybe 3 months ago. I found a leak the coming from the center of the roof before driving it off the lot. Told the sales guy. Brought it back and they replaced the windshield gasket. Next rain it leaked again, this time down both A post left standing water in floor pans (mildewed carpets) took it back and the replaced the pass side roof panel and door gaskets. Last hard rain we had in N Texas and it was leaking down both A post again!! Took it back for the third time. Now they are replacing both roof panels and replacing all the gaskets again! Talked to the service guy Friday and he tells me it's still leaking. What in the hell do I do?? Is leaking a normal thing for jeeps?

I wouldn't call it normal, but it's a common issue.
It's very difficult to properly seal the hardtop.
Also it's not always the top that needs readjustment, but the doors.

If softtop was an option for you I'd go this route. They're much less prone to leakage.

I'd rather keep the hardtop. Helps with noise reduction. Starting to feel like the mechanics at the dealership are a bunch of idiots.

It's a design flaw and the more places that the top opens then you're opening yourself up to more potential for leaks.

So they can replace all of the seals on the hardtop and add more "mucket" but there are some jeeps that the dealer buys back because they can't figure out the leaks.

My first JK, a 2008 JKU, had leaks in multiple areas. They weren't "gushers", but water regularly dripped down the doors from the corners. It had a soft top and hard top; both tops presented the same leaks. The JK went in and out of the dealership for months. They were no help, so I tried my hand at fixing the leaks myself. I managed to reduce the leaking, but not get it stopped completely.

It was very frustrating, but I guess I kinda' just got used to it after awhile. After searching JKF, I found that leaks can be very common. The decision before me was, "Do I ditch the JK because the little leaks annoy me?", or, "Do I keep the JK because I enjoy it and I can live with the little leaks?". I chose to keep it, with leaks and all, and I'm still happy about that decision.

That JK ran its course and I now have a 2013. The 2013 has had zero leaks so far, but I won't be surprised (or really even care) if it does develop little leaks. Maybe it's just part of the "Jeep thing" or maybe it's something that a vehicle owner should be upset about....I'm just used to it and it doesn't bother me any more.

It could be worse. The CJ-2A has leaks everywhere.
