Ok how many of you have filed Lemon on these pos's? What did you lemon it for? I am sick of going to get things fixed over and over again. It lives at the stealership. Has anyone lemoned just for the Leaky roof? Is that enough? I am sick of getting wet. Anyone from Texas done it? Thanks!!!

Probably not many. I've had my JK for 1 year 1 month and it hasn't been to the shop once for service, not counting the recall I had performed today for uphill breaking -- but that doesn't count as broken down service IMO.

Unfortunately, I suspect you are very wrong.

What is the rule anyway. I was reading a thread yesterday about a guy who had a "sentry key starting probloem" and had his jk in the shop like 4 times in one week and they still have not fixed the problem. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/stock-jk-tech-12/how-overide-sentry-key-starter-problem-47254/ Just wondering what he could do.

I do believe most states have their own individual lemon laws and most require 3 visits for the same problem.

Ya they couldn't fix my soft top, so I just fixed it myself. I work for a GM dealer and usually lemon law requires 3 visits uncorrected for the same concern. If the word lemon law is mentioned to GM on the phone, they will do almost anything humanly possible to make sure it's fixed. We've had a couple really weird ones(happens at 9,000 feet), and once in a blue moon they'll send out engineer and both times I've seen this happen, he couldn't fix it and they bought the vehicle back.

FL. Requires 4 times not repaired and 1 last try by the rep to correct the trouble, My trouble is when I take it in there discription of the trouble for the same thing will change with every visit by doing this it will not qualify for lemon law. they often offer a buy back when you start takling lemon law this way they can resell it with out telling the new buyer any thing.
So far in for
Leaking hard top panels 4 times more to come
bottom end rattle at start up 3 times )no trouble found this is there favorite saying more to come. ( they did replace my oil filter at my request thinking the oil was draining back service dept wrote oil leak at filter for that one bald face lie.
today stranded with a bad transponder in key -replaced key.
I can go on but i am tired of bitchen it makes me want to trade it for a honda.
AND THE NEXT ONE THAT TELLS ME IT'S A JEEP
