Default Let's do some brainstorming:

I'm running out of time to get the Clutch Sqeak done. I brought it into the dealership once, but they "Didn't hear anything".

It's there.... I hear it all the time....

But now my jeep is lifted, and has wheel spacers.

Is there any way they can claim my lift as contributing to clutch "damage"?

they didn't give me any problems when I had mine in for the clutch squeak...in fact, 2 of the service advisors complimented me on the lift and how much better it looks than stock. I highly doubt they'll hassle you about it...but you never know.

The reality is dealers will be able to spin most any modification as having done damage/a defect to/of any part of the vehicle. I think you'll see that is true the tougher the economic times get. The best thing you can do is find a good dealer...

If a dealer tried to spin the clutch squeak on a suspension lift...its time to find a new dealer. Good luck!

hey Wayland you might want to talk to piginajeep about this, he had the same thing. I believe the dealership told him that it was normal... My question is if it normal than why dont all of them do it.... maybe the people who dont have the noise should take there jeeps to the dealerships and say hey my jeep isnt making the noise???????

Hahahaha .... When I wen to the dealer they said that the clutch naturally makes noise, so i asked them y the one i just delivered earlier that day didnt squeak, (I was working at a Ford for the same dealer and had to deliver a wrangler up there.) "Its a ware item" I didnt know that you could tell a ware item by its sound....

Bottom line, if it makes the noise, they need to fix it, if they know that there is a problem from the factory, i should be able to buggy the thing and have the STOCK clutch fixed in the time frame
