It's been documented a few times here in pictures and in measurements that there are different springs according to the numbers, and that the spring numbers determine height/length of the spring.

I didn't read every post in this thread so I may be repeating this information.

If you go to the pdf file in the link below, on page 22 you will see a list of 19 different front coil part numbers and on page 309-310 you will see a list of 19 different rear coil part numbers. The only problem is, I could not find any details for the 3-letter codes in the description column.

I called my local dealer and the coils were ~$55 each in stock. I ended getting mine from a place in town that does a lot of Jeep lifts. I think I paid $125 for the springs and shocks and they honestly looked like they were factory take-offs. I had 14's in the front and 56's in the rear and got 16's in the front and 60's in the rear and it lifted it just over an inch but it rides a lot better.

4 - Rear Springs 68004459AA

long Side note: I almost grabbed a Sahara in place of my icon and had test driven it twice - (sold the day we went to buy). The little ones had little issue climbing into the Sahara without using the steps...the Rubi is a different story for my youngest. It is physically taller than the Sahara we test drove, without a doubt. I don't have much of the front sag that was very prevalent on the Sahara. (I'm sooo glad they sold the Sahara!) Trust me there is a ride/handling difference - no doubt....but my wife loves the jeep. It's not my first jeep so it's good to be back.....

oh yeah my first post cheers everyone!

does anyone know if the deisel spring are stiffer, maybe the deisel engines weigh more and those springs would offer more lift under a 3.8,

I have a 2007 Sahara 2DR with hardtop. I will get some spring numbers off my own Jeep soon.

I am trying to figure out what kind of oem spring upgrade I am looking for to get maybe an inch lift on all 4 corners. I found a "2010 rubicon unlimited w towing package" spring set. but it is not clarified if it is hardtop or not. i dont want to just guess on springs, or i'll start wasting a lot money..

This Rubicons unlimited with towing package part numbers:

Looks like the "18" front springs are the strongest/tallest: 52126318AC
Looks like the "58" rear springs are soft top: 68004458AA

I think a unlimited Rubicon hardtop WITH towing would have "59" and be a tiny bit taller or stronger..

if you have hardtop OR towing, but not both, you stay with a "58" rear spring. but when you have both, it steps up to 59.
