Default Letter "WARRANTY" Transmission cooler

Just got a letter about my 2008 JK they are extending the warranty coverage for the transmission cooler for 7 years or 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
" We are extending the warranty period on your transmission cooler lines because some of the affected vehicle population could experience weeping fluid at the hose tube crimp joint. If your vehicle is operating properly, there is nothing you are required to do." just figured I would give everyone a heads up!

Well, mine do not leak (yet?) and I also have an aux cooler that I lined in at the short sections of hose where the (often) leaky connections are.

If mine do start to leak I will expect them to be fixed under the extension regardless of the aux cooler.

Adding the cooler should not necessarily cause those connections to leak. I know someone will have a dealer say "too bad." But I would argue for the fix.

Yeah I would put up a fight but some of the little stuff you some times just have to it let go, and save the argument for the major stuff.
