Default License plate mount to spare??
Can someone please comment on which to buy or what methods you used to mount your license plate in the spare tire

I built my own out of 1 1/2" angled steel and 16 gauge sheet from Home Depot. Added a generic license plate light and red LED strip lights for a 3rd brake light.

I just zip tied mine. Can hardly see them. No lights or anything but I live in a state where they don't really care about that stuff. Going 5 months strong like this.

Built my own also. Works and looks similar to the genright one. Materials, license plate plug, and lights cost me bout $30 total vs $80 for just a plate.

x2 on the Warrior. I got the one with the 3rd brake light and license plate light. Also used it to mount backup camera.

Could have DIY'erd it but not that talented.

Mine was the first thing I ever fabbed. Was really easy just square tubing and a couple small peices of sheet metal and good to go. Hardest part is cutting everything to size
