Lifetime Powertrain Coverage
Nope... Most 07s were not covered.
All new Jeeps sold after July 26th, 2007 were covered to their original owner (it's non-transferable)... For reference I bought my '08 new on August 25th, 2007... So the last couple of weeks of '07s were covered, and any remaining new inventory.

So even though I didn't opt for the ridiculous extra coverage, you're saying that my 10 has a lifetime powertrain warranty? I know they were saying something but I just wanted to go drive it. I'm pretty sure I do have it and I *think* (if I do have it) that u joints are covered for life- I asked about them in particular.
I would say then that odds are very unlikely that yours (or anybody's) '10 was covered by this warranty.
If you have a lifetime powertrain warranty you should have received a owner's manual supplement from your dealer at the time of purchase. Mine was located with the owner's manual in that little denim case located inside my glove box.
When in doubt, you can always call Chrysler and give them your VIN, they should be able to look it up and tell you exactly what warranties are outstanding on your vehicle.
Oh...
I was just reading some more...
Apparently when Chrysler ended their lifetime powertrain warranty, they also switched from the 3yr/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty to the 5yr/100,000 mile warranty.
So... they easy "test" to determine if you fall on the outside of the cut off or not would be to look at your window sticker (if you kept that) and see if it says "5yr/100,000", if so you do NOT have a lifetime powertrain warranty.

Off topic, but- the dealer I didn't buy from said they could swap out my full doors for half doors no problem and they could do it that day.....the jeep I was looking at was the ONLY mango tango on the lot.

Let me know what you find out about the warranty. If you are still under your factory warranty, it may not be too late to buy extended coverage from your dealer...
Go out to the Jeep website and click For Owners at the top. Sign up and enter your vin/vehicle info. You can view all of your warranty info from here, as well as racall info and whatever else.
